As an independent celebrant I enjoy bringing your visions to fruition, enabling you and those close to you to have a memorable day.
Our loved ones can be remembered in a funeral ceremony that celebrates their life, with a memorial ceremony and by interring or scattering their ashes – and sometimes all three. I offer peaceful, non and semi-religious ceremonies and acknowledge diverse beliefs, cultures and backgrounds.
Typically, ceremonies take place at crematoriums, cemeteries and natural burial sites, but memorial and ashes ceremonies can also happen in a wide range of other locations that could be meaningful for the deceased.
I will contact you by telephone initially to set up a meeting with you and other family members or friends as appropriate to discuss the ceremony and obtain information. This leads to the creation of a draft script for you to agree and includes the coordination of input by any other contributors. It’s my job to make sure that a funeral, memorial or ashes ceremony is right or you.

Sometimes, people know they are going to die and want to have a hand in planning their own funeral ceremony. I consider it a privilege to work with those who want such a ‘Living funeral’ arrangement to enable their wishes to be met when the time comes.
